Standard Crack Monitor Gauge Detect and record the movement of cracks in concrete, brick, sheet rock, wood or masonry structures with these simple to use and inexpensive devices. These crack monitors consist of two overlapping acrylic plates. One plate is marked with a millimeter grid and the other plate has red crosshairs centered over the grid. Once installed, any movement can be easily seen and recorded on a Crack Progress Chart included with each Crack Monitor.
