Earlier this week, the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida (A.C.A.F.) held their 40th annual conference in Orlando, Florida. This years conference was held at the Wyndham Orlando Resort and featured a packed exhibit hall and well rounded presentations for the contractors and vendors. Atlantic Supply is a proud member of A.C.A.F. and enjoys bringing new products to display at the conference, and this year was no exception.

This year Atlantic Supply brought three unique products for display; the PQI-380 Non-Nuclear Asphalt Density Gauge, the Auto-Rice controller, and the Halo Hard Hat Light.
The PQI-380 gauge, manufactured by Trans-Tech Systems, quickly and accurately measures asphalt density in-place during the paving and compacting processes. Atlantic Supply is the exclusive stocking distributor for Trans-Tech in Florida and stocks the PQI-380 gauge at each office.
The new Auto-Rice controller, manufactured by InstroTek, is a brand new product that controls and maintains multiple operations during the Rice Test process. Atlantic Supply is an authorized InstroTek distributor for this and other products such as the Core-Dry, Core-Lok, and Pump Saver units. Atlantic Supply hosted Brian O’Toole with InstroTek and he was very helpful answering the many questions asked regarding this new, time saving product. Thanks Brian!
Certainly the star of the show was the Halo Hard Hat Light, manufactured by Illumagear, which is now in stock at Atlantic Supply. The Halo is the must-have safety product for those working at night, near busy roads, or a congested job site yard.
