Chris’ career in HDD began nearly 20 years ago when he started drilling in Ohio and then moved to Alabama in 1999. Chris owned and operated a business for over 15 years and drilled throughout the Southeast, with much of that work in Alabama, and he has experience drilling in sand, gravel, chert rock, gumbo clay, shale, limestone and granite. Over the years Chris gained a great deal of real world experience and like most of us, some was learned the hard way. Chris has pulled copper, fiber, multiple conduits, ductile iron, large diameter steel casings and steel gas mains as well as forced and gravity sewer mains. Chris sold his business in 2015 and since has worked as a Drilling Superintendent in Birmingham.
We here at Atlantic know that his many years of experience in the field will be of great value to our customers. Chris is capable of assessing equipment and tooling needs as well as recommending the best drilling fluids for HDD applications.
