Earlier this month our company president, Carlos Licona, attended the 2018 World of Asphalt show in Houston as a guest of our valued vendor, TransTech Systems, Inc. TransTech is the leading developer and manufacturer of non-nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soil testing as well as accessory tooling for asphalt paving machines. Atlantic Supply is a stocking distributor for TransTech in multiple states as well as numerous foreign countries.
The current TransTech gauges are the PQI380 Pavement Quality Indicator (for asphalt) and the SDG200 Soil Density Gauge (for soils) which are stocked at all five Atlantic Supply stores.
Atlantic Supply is currently the authorized distributor for TransTech in the countries of Panama and Mexico as well as the states of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Carlos has personally worked in these areas to strengthen the TransTech and Atlantic Supply brands and as a result, Atlantic Supply was named the 2017 Distributor of the Year!

The World of Asphalt show was a great success for TransTech and Atlantic Supply with contractors, testing firms, and government agencies stopping by the booth. Carlos was especially helpful with many foreign visitors as he is fluent in Spanish.
