In December 2018, Atlantic Supply was approved for ISO/IEC 17025 Calibration Accreditation through ANAB from the NASI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (effective 12/21/18).
Atlantic Supply began providing materials testing equipment, supplies and calibrations full-time in early 2003 after purchasing a small, but busy, distribution company in the Tampa Bay area. This purchase brought new challenges such as providing calibrations on concrete, soil, and asphalt testing equipment for testing firms, concrete and asphalt producers, and various municipalities.
Thanks to the diligent work of Atlantic Supply personnel, as well as input from clients and regulatory agencies, the calibrations and the associated paperwork became more sophisticated and reliable. A few years ago, the State of Florida established a requirement that any testing laboratory that is certified by CMEC must use an ISO 17025 accredited calibration company starting on January 1, 2019. This brought a new challenge that through a lot of late nights and hard work, was met, on time by the staff of Atlantic Supply.
As a stocking distributor for the best names in the testing equipment business such as Test Mark Industries, Trans-Tech Systems, and many others, it is important for Atlantic Supply to not only sell the equipment but to service and calibrate it as well.
