This course satisfies recurrent (refresher) Hazmat employee training requirements including Type A packaging, Special Form certification, labels and markings, shipping papers, security, emergency response and security awareness per Title 49 CFR.

Title 49 CFR requires that radioactive materials licensees that receive, transport and offer for shipment packages containing radioactive material that are classified as hazardous materials (Hazmat) by the Department of Transportation (USDOT) must have Hazmat training at intervals not to exceed three (3) years.

This course is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours long and is taught by a CPN approved instructor. Students passing the course will receive a Hazmat certificate. Certificates are mailed to the employee's workplace.

The cost for this class is $50 per student if paid in advance and $60 per student if paid on the day of the class.

Hazmat classes are also given at times and dates other than those posted here. If the above schedule does not fulfill your needs, please call your nearest Atlantic Supply store and ask for the store manager. The store manager will be happy to set up a time and location to accommodate your particular needs. Classes may be held at your facility or at a jobsite if required. Mileage will be an additional charge for classes held at your facility or jobsite.

Saturday classes are available. Saturday classes require a minimum of 10 paid registrations plus round trip mileage if held at your facility.
